Introductions
Born into an Air Force family, I had the opportunity to live in several U.S. states and Germany before our family finally settled in Tampa, FL, where I lived until I married my husband, TC, now of 40 years. Together we raised two daughters whose families have blessed us with two incredible grandchildren.

Education
Education has always been a priority for me. At Tampa’s A.P. Leto High School, I graduated in the top of my class and was an inducted member of the National Honor Society and Future Business Leaders of America. I received a scholarship to attend college and graduated with honors before joining my husband on the first of two assignments to Germany. Once stateside, I worked in the Huntsville, Alabama Planning & Zoning Department when my children were young. When they were school age, I became active in the PTA holding various positions, and began teaching in military and public schools.

Service History
Growing up in an Air Force family and then going on to become an Army wife for 31 years, I value the very important responsibility of civic service. I recognize the invaluable life and people skills I gained from both growing up in a military family and then as an Army spouse.
In addition to my work in the legal field – working for the Army’s Judge Advocate General’s office and private attorneys – I held various volunteer positions in military, church and community organizations at each duty station where we were assigned and was awarded Volunteer of the Year while stationed at Ft. Bliss (Texas). Having a service heart, I found it easy to adapt and get involved with each community where we lived.

Pooler Living
A few years ago, I resigned my position of 15 years as a Real Estate Paralegal in Richmond Hill, GA. My experience in this role and in the legal field has significantly enhanced my understanding of the various documents, terminology, and procedures associated with the governance of the city. My husband and I moved to Pooler from Richmond Hill four years ago because we fell in love with the community and the city’s thriving potential. With four generations of my family now proud residents of Pooler, I have a vested interest in making our city a wonderful place to live, work and raise our children.
