Our fire and police departments must be supported both financially and as a community to ensure that our residents are safe and informed.  As population grows in any city, there is a tendency for crime to rise as well.

1. We can pursue grants to supplement the needs of these departments.
2. We can hold more community events where residents interact directly with members of these departments.
3. We can ensure that each department has the staff, equipment, facilities and number of officers needed to protect our citizens and keep crime down.
4. We need to actively research new technology and equipment to keep our departments up to date and functioning at 100%.
